About the same!!

About the same....not an exciting title, but the best I could come up with today....and it described the day well also so..... I think I mentioned in the last post how it was dumping snow last night...and just as quickly as it started, it was done...after about an inch of snow. It looked magical out of our window.
This morning, instead of waiting for the bus, we walked to the hospital which is basically across the street. It was a perfect morning, sunny, new snow, and no wind!
As I said, Lizzey was about the same today. It took very little for her to fall asleep again today and I'm beginning to think it must be because we are boring visitors!!!! She again, was nauseous, and a bit dizzy (yes she is blonde). After no 'real' food for many days and also after having abdominal surgery, barfing is not fun, but she did have to do that once today.....no fun going on there. The upside of the day was getting her hair washed. She knew Pastor Brad and his wife were coming for a visit, so she wanted to 'spiffy' up a bit for them. Between Dave and I, a chair, low sink and a bit of shampoo, we got the job done and she felt so much better....well, until she barfed that is!! She was worried that she may not be able to stay awake while they were visiting this afternoon and she did quite well staying awake, ummm, until she fell asleep that is! Dave and I had much fun talking though and were so glad to see them.
Eating, hmmmm, what can I say about eating? That is always slow in happening and it is no different this time either. She has sipped a bit of broth and took about 2 bites of ice cream, but over all nothing sounds good. Well, guess I should take that back since she keeps mentioning foods that sound good that are no longer allowed for the next 6 weeks or so. Maybe that is why they sound good....off limits!! We have just been enjoying the day together.
