Balmy Cleveland

Balmy....not a word I was expecting to write being in Cleveland....in January!! We arrived here last night in spring like weather and today is much of the same....however, by the end of the week, it sounds as though it is to be much colder.

The drive here went well and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the CC Guesthouse is. The writeups were not good at all so we were all a bit nervous about what we were getting ourselves into!! The hospital is a short walk away if we want to walk, or there are shuttle busses to drop you off at your specific building if you want to go that route. We rode the bus this morning and it was fun....our stop at the Crile Building was the last stop so we had a mini tour of all the the CC buildings....it was fun! Libbey had 5 appointments today and another test thrown in that she was not expecting. We talked to the doc...she is great, talked to the nurse, she was great and we also talked to another nurse about many 'what ifs' etc. and she also was....great. We have a good feel about things at this point. Liz has another 'surprise' test scheduled for in the morning...well, guess it is more 'noonish' so won't have to jump out of bed right away. Hopefully Lizzey can get a decent nights sleep tonight....for some reason she didn't sleep well last night due to much snoring done by Dave....didn't make him too popular!! So....it was a decent day....Lizzey is dead tired so hopefully can sleep tonight!!
